I gave 3 starts on some of boxes only because how good they scammed me out of my 20$
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
You are better off spending that 20 dollars on drugs or a crate of snacks.
As everyone else has stated, at first you receive a small batch of highly enticing matches that seem very ideal. But what is the catch? NO CONTACT INFO...WELL DAG NAMIT!
So you are stuck between a rock and a hard spot. Should you just let your info circulate and hope SOMEONE you want will swoop in and save you. Or bite the bullet and pay the measly 20 bucks to get the numbers and do the labor work yourself?
Luckily someone did the enticing for me. I got a text and email in a day or so about someone wanting to add me to there lease, but the catch is it cost just the amount you want to pay, in an area you don't care for. I decline and follow up by asking how I can contact other matches (this is where I screwed up). So he follows up by saying cool, you might have to become A MEMBER to get the the contacts. Of course!!! with me in joy of already linking up with someone so quickly, the others accounts are bound to be good...
As it seemed, there was one or two really good potential matches with an email account (both email names slightly suspicious in design...but who cares). So I contact one and get a good smooth talking story, but overall they do not call and do not text. They regurgitated some info that sounds spot on to what you just told them in the following email, but the person did not actually follow up with a set price and no number or full name.
Ultimately I think the elaborate scheme ends with roomiematch screwing thousands of people out of 20 bucks for 100's of bogus and lame matches you can't or have no intention of using. After those two subsequent potential matches. Every...single...last one of them was clearly not for me or what I asked for. They basically link every single option in your county within 75% of a match to you. This may be cool for people in the smaller states. But in California and other big states that can be anyone over a 60mile radius!
DO NOT---DO NOT---DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY!
In summary, I would not recommend Roomie Match to a friend.
